EXCERPT: “Members of the Minnesota House of Representatives’ Capital Investment Committee visited southwest Minnesota this week to learn more about Worthington’s Welcome, Education, Library and Livability (W.E.L.L.) proposal, Windom’s storm sewer project and Red Rock Rural Water System’s pipeline expansion plan, as all of the entities seek state bonding money. Local officials led tours of the Nobles County Library and Independent School District 518 West Learning Center to provide state representatives a concept of the proposed collaborative project which, if completed, will be an extension of the City of Worthington’s half-cent sales tax-funded field house renovation along Second Avenue. The tour also included a brief drive-by of the proposed project site along Second Avenue west of the Worthington Fire Hall.” FULL STORY: http://bit.ly/33nYInE
